Through our corporate wellness program, GP Fit, we seek to empower our employees to make choices to improve their physical, mental, and financial health.
The Best Wellness Employer program allows us to showcase the success of our program and the positive impact it has on our employees’ lives. Silver Certification indicates that GP Fit scored above average in the four main survey categories: Assessment, Strategy, Implementation, and Evaluation.
About GP Fit
Through GP Fit, we have consistently rolled out new initiatives and incentives to help Groov-Pin employees and their families improve their health, especially during the ongoing pandemic.
All Groov-Pin employees can engage with the wellness incentive program regardless of health insurance program participation. Though the pandemic has prevented us from hosting in-person wellness events, we have shifted gears to focus specifically on online outreach and mental health.
More than ever, our employees are encouraged to ask questions about their healthcare enrollment to fully understand the benefits that we offer. We continue to promote virtual doctor and mental health visits as well as digital resources like the behavioral health app Sanvello, which is available at no cost to those enrolled in our healthcare program.
The Walk to Wellness walking program has remained an integral component of our wellness program. Throughout 2020, the challenges have provided added incentive to stay active during a time of social distancing. The goals for each walk were tied to donations to different organizations including the American Cancer Society, the American Stroke Association, and the Lung Cancer Research Foundation.
Listening to our employees and acting on their feedback is critical to the success of our wellness program. As we move forward and adapt to the new normal, we will continue to work with employees to develop programs that address their needs.
