Groov-Pin will attend the 2025 International Microwave Symposium (IMS) on June 17 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California. IMS is the world’s largest RF and microwave event and is part of Microwave Week. The show will feature over 600 exhibiting companies from the RF and Microwave Connector industry.
Companies that exhibit at IMS “represent the state-of-the-art when it comes to materials, devices, components, and subsystems, as well as design and simulation software and test/measurement equipment.” We look forward to connecting with our RF Connector customers and discovering new opportunities.
Our sales manager, Mark Ciuba, and application specialist, Scott Stanier, will attend the show this year. You can connect with them at the show or contact them to learn more about our Precision Turned Components and other engineered fasteners.
Groov-Pin RF/Microwave Connector Components
Groov-Pin’s subsidiary, Precision Turned Components (PTC), in Smithfield, Rhode Island, manufactures precision turned connector bodies, fittings, and other complex parts. We manufacture parts that deliver the premium thread integrity, tight tolerances, burr-free edges, and fine finishes connector companies need for accurate and reliable performance. These brass, carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, and aluminum turned parts meet strict tolerance and finish requirements necessary for use in the RF/Connector industry.
Precision Turned Components operates a range of multi-spindle, single-spindle, CNC Swiss, and secondary machines to produce complex parts ranging in diameter from .030″ to 11″ in quantities ranging from 100 to 10 million+ pieces. We provide secondary features such as markings, stampings, broaching, cross-holes, slots, and threads. Please see our capabilities and facilities list for more information.
We also manufacture standard lines of Tap-Lok thread-cutting inserts and Speedserts thread-forming inserts. Groov-Pin threaded inserts install quickly, in one step, and provide vibration and pull-out resistance for stronger assemblies. Our Speedserts have exterior lobes that roll through the base material, locking them in place without leaving metal chips behind.
