Groov-Pin is dedicated to the continuous improvement of its employee wellness program. Groov-Pin has been recognized year over year as a Healthiest Employer of Rhode Island, a Healthiest Employer of Atlanta, and a Best Wellness Employer. Our award-winning wellness program, GP Fit, encourages employees to prioritize their physical, mental, social, and financial health. Recognizing the importance of the team to our business, we understand that wellness is critical to engagement and helping people come to work “on purpose.”
By addressing each of these aspects, we try to give employees a better chance at reducing their stress levels and improving their overall health. We want employees to feel empowered to take steps to make healthy, long-lasting changes in their lives.
The GP Fit employee wellness program has truly become part of Groov-Pin’s company culture. Because we address many aspects of health that go beyond physical, our initiatives impact many parts of employees’ lives. Individual and team Walk to Wellness walking challenges improve physical health while encouraging socialization and improving mental health. We have also chosen to focus on our larger community by creating walking challenges that will benefit local organizations that are important to our team.
Financial workshops and webinars help employees feel more confident and reduce stress related to financial planning and budgeting. Stress reduction through programs like monthly yoga and mindfulness has also helped employees interact more positively in the workplace.
Developing programs that encompass every facet of wellbeing leads to a successful employee wellness program. As we move forward, we will continue to work directly with our employees to develop new wellness initiatives that will address their needs and help them make healthy, lasting changes to improve their overall wellbeing.
