Groov-Pin/Precision Turned Components (PTC) is considered an essential business according to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. We fit into the criteria written in the essential critical infrastructure workforce guideline, primarily under, but not limited to, the critical manufacturing sector.
Groov-Pin/PTC remains open while safely feasible to serve the needs of our customers. We are closely monitoring the developments of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Our first priority is the health and safety of our employees, customers, and suppliers. We are strictly following all government guidelines and have accordingly adjusted aspects of how we conduct business.
We have made changes in all Groov-Pin plants including:
- Increased cleaning and sanitizing of facilities
- Proper distancing between employees
- No in-person meetings; we will conduct meetings via phone or video conferencing
- Checking employees for symptoms upon arrival each day
- Encouraging employees to call in if they suspect they have symptoms or feel particularly at risk
