Groov-Pin was recognized by Providence Business News (PBN) for Overall Excellence at a Midsize Manufacturer in the annual Manufacturing Awards

PBN chose 10 honorees for the 2023 awards program, which recognizes efforts in the manufacturing sector.

Groov-Pin has been in business for 97 years. The company was started in 1926 to manufacture solid metal pins and has since expanded product lines to include threaded inserts and custom precision turned components

Over the years, Groov-Pin has expanded the industries it serves to include Aerospace, Automotive, Irrigation, RF Microwave Connector, and many more.

Innovation is an important part of the business. Every employee is encouraged to share ideas and many employee-driven developments have helped Groov-Pin retain a competitive advantage.

Each employee has “bought in” to the customers. Leadership explains where parts are going and why the component is important to the application. When customers visit either Groov-Pin facility, employees on the shop floor give them tours. Customers sense the commitment the team puts into making their parts.
