Last month, we introduced a monthly employee recognition program called Cheers for Peers to recognize the accomplishments of our team. Employees are able to nominate co-workers each month based on a different theme.

For March, our team was asked to nominate someone who they think is a great problem solver. Winners were announced during our monthly production meetings.

Thank you to everyone who participated and shared such encouraging and kind comments about their teammates.

Congratulations to the March winners!

“Rodney is the Ga toolroom machinist. Almost on a daily basis he is involved in the repair of a machine in any dept or is tasked with making something for a machine that keeps production going. Not only does he use his expertise to resolve problems, but he does a great job of documenting the issue so in the future the a repair will be faster or more efficient. You can find Rodney in the toolroom behind his lathe or mill or on his computer making drawings or designing an improvement. He can even be found lying under a machine helping operators with a repair. He always has a good attitude and is willing to help wherever a problem arises.”

“Rodney Is Great At Identifying and Solving Problems To Keep Machines Operating.”

“Rodney is the MacGyver of Georgia. he has designed, repaired machinery and processes in every department in the plant. Rodney is very creative and up to solve any problem.”

“Rodney is amazing how he can figure stuff out. If it is broken, he can fix it. When a machine part is worn out, he can make another one. Rodney is not a machine operator, but when the people who run the machines cannot figure it out, Rodney comes to the rescue.”

“Most of us call Alan only when we have a problem. He works at all hours to fix any issue that comes up with our technology and gets us up and running as quickly as he can. If there’s a computer problem, Alan has or finds a solution!”

“Ken looks at problems with a critical eye and is always quick to offer short term and long term solutions to keep things moving. He’s reliable and willing to offer his experience and expertise when needed.”

“Ken gets tons of different projects thrown at him constantly in the form of problems that need a solution. He always comes up with a solution and is willing to do whatever it takes to get solutions implemented. An overall nice guy. Even tempered, smart, willing and exceptional quality of work.”

We are so excited to keep this program going to build community and cheer our peers in the Groov-Pin family!
